Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes. Bookings are essential. Custom designs must be faxed or emailed 24 hours prior to your booking.

How long does it last?

Temporary Tattoos last approximately 3 - 8 days depending on skin type and how it is looked after.

How much do they cost and how long does it take to apply?

This all depends on the size and complexity of design.

As a guide Airbrushed tattoos:
Small designs such as a Chinese character take aprox 5 minutes to do and cost $10
Medium designs such as an arm band take aprox 10 minutes and cost $20 - $30
Large designs such can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour and cost between $60 up to $100 depending on the size.

As a guide hand painted tattoos:
Small designs such as a Chinese character take aprox 15 minutes to do and cost $20
Medium designs such as an arm band take aprox 30 minutes and cost $50 - $60
Large designs such can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours and cost between $90 and $150

What do you use to do the tattoo and is it safe for sensitive skin?

The ink used has been specifically formulated by a cosmetic chemist and is designed for application onto the skin. The ink sits on top of the skin and its elasticity moves with the skin without cracking or peeling. It is perfectly safe and non-toxic on all skin types. The ink we use IS NOT traditional henna and whilst it doesn’t last as long as henna gives a far superior colour without the risk of skin reactions.

How long does it take to dry?

The tattoos dry instantly and you can put clothing on over the tattoo as soon as it is completed.

Can it be removed?

Yes with Baby Oil or Rubbing Alcohol.

Can I have my own design done?

Yes, custom designs must be emailed or faxed through 24 hours before the appointment.

Can I swim after the tattoo has been applied?

Yes. Water will not dissolve the ink although it will soften it. Caution is needed when drying yourself and it is recommended the tattoo be powdered immediately after it has been wet.

Can I go in the sun/solarium?

Yes. Because the ink sits on top of the skin it will act as a sun barrier. Excessive tanning will result in a lighter patch once the design is removed.

Can I spray tan?

Not immediately before the tattoo application. Spray tans can be done the day before the tattoo or after the tattoo is applied.

Do you do temporary tattoos at private parties, fairs or corporate events?
